Welcome to the
Housing Trust Fund of Santa Barbara County
The Housing Trust Fund of Santa Barbara County (HTF) is an innovative non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that is working on a countywide basis to help solve our communities’ critical need for workforce and affordable housing. HTF is a funding vehicle that helps bridge the ‘affordability gap’ by partnering with the private, public and non-profit sectors to raise new financial resources to support affordable community housing.
Our Mission
The Housing Trust Fund of Santa Barbara County (HTF) helps maintain the socio-economic fabric of Santa Barbara County by addressing the fundamental building block of healthy communities--housing that is affordable to local workers and residents. HTF works to create innovative partnerships and new sources of private and public revenue permanently dedicated to expanding the supply of affordable housing for very low, low, moderate and middle-income residents of Santa Barbara County. We support projects that enhance the quality of life and sense of community and that preserve the long-term affordability of the housing as a community resource.
New Projects
The role of our new Market Research and Information Systems Intern, Fiona Teng, is largely defined by a new project introduced at the start of this year, the Housing Pipeline Project 2011. Our hopes for the Housing Pipeline Project 2011 are to survey our affordable housing sponsors and to achieve four major goals. Read more to see how you can participate in this countywide effort.
